Where to Get Real Eggnog For Your Holiday Festivities The Coastal Confidence Aubrey Yandow[outfit_details] I’m so excited to kick it off the holiday season with a visit to Arethusa Farm in Litchfield County for some real eggnog with New England DairyLooking back on 2019, we had the pleasure of showcasing New England dairy farms tapping maple syrup in March, churning ice cream all summer long, and hosting family-fun activities in the Fall. Now, we’re showcasing where to get real eggnog for your holiday festivities in New England!

It’s been quite a year exploring the quintessential New England dairy farms that are doing so much for the community! I mean, New England houses roughly 1,000 dairy farming families. These farms help supply our communities with farm-to-table food by working above and beyond to preserve open-spaces, historic structures, and rolling hills. You often see this land featured on our Instagram.

Arethusa Farm was founded in 1868 by the Webster family and purchased in 1999 by George Malkemus and Anthony Yurgaitis. Their goal being to save open farmland and establish their own dairy herd. Fast forward to 2019, with two retail stores and gourmet dairy products, Arethusa Farm and their farm stores are a thriving part of Connecticut’s community! Plus, it’s a great spot to grab glass-bottle real eggnog.
