You know it’s summer in New England, when the ferries are up & running. I don’t know why, but I’m a big fan of parking the car and taking the ferry over to other towns near by.

Matt says it would be 100% easier, if we just got in the car and drove over to the other towns, but there is something so historically pleasing about a good ferry ride.

So because it’s my BIRTHDAY WEEK (my birthday is on Wednesday) I made Matt, get on the ferry and take me to one of my favorite seafood shacks in CT.

I’ll admit I was a tad hungry, due to the fact that there was a gigantic line for the ferry, but a lobster roll can fix just about anything!

New England takes on a whole new nautical lifestyle once summer comes, and I LOVE IT.

I’ve decided it’s time to start sharing a lot more New England travel moments with you all, so if there are any places in New England that I have to hit up, let me know below.

I love hearing your thoughts & sharing more of what you love. Because you guys are literally the best. Anyway I hope you all had a wonderful long weekend & remember to slow down and do something fun, like a ferry ride. You deserve it xx A.
